Heheh, that's right on one of my 30 minute bike rides to campus (don't say that sucks cause it's awesome, I need the excersise and it's fun) I came up with this cool idea for an art meme, and wanted to see if I could get it to spread. And no it's not another one of those answer questions by drawing things or stuff like that, it's actually made to possibly draw something new, something you wouldn't normally draw. OK so here it is (if you like it do it and pass it on):

"What if . . ?" Meme
So here's what you do, you post a journal saying you're doing the meme and to get suggestions for it in the form of what if's. A what if is sometihng like "What if [insert character here] were a boy/girl?" or "What if your characters where from Ancient Greece?" It's that kind of thing.

Try to make suggestions about the artist's characters or the ones they usually draw and not suggest things like "What if you drew my character?" that's not what this meme is for.

So anyway after a couple of days (or any amount of time you feel you have enough suggestions) you choose your favorites (try to include things you wouldn't normally draw) then make a poll (or a journal if you're not subscribed) asking for votes on it. Then the winning "what if" wins and you have to draw it. Simple right?


Anyway hope that's clear and hope it catches on. And btw I am doing it, so throw on the "what if" suggestions.




Ok so cause two people gave me suggestions and I really want to do this, I'll up the ante a bit, this isn't part of the meme unless you want to do it though. Essentially the person whos "What if?" wins gets a free drawing from me, that will get colored eventually. XP Anyway how's that? So go on and suggest.


Ok I should inform you guys you do get to make multiple suggestions, though to be fair I'll only choose your best one, in my opinion unless there's more than one that's really good.

Oh also for everyone who has suggested (even though it's mostly my friends XP) Thanks you ^ ^ I think I'm going to go to Thursday for suggestions, maybe Friday, I dunno depends on how many people suggested things, I want to be fair and give everyone a chance of course.
